Bienvenue à Jack, le nouvel expert de DHL.org – De jeunes leaders qui révolutionnent la santé mentale

Fév 19, 2024

Jack.org is a leading Canadian mental health charity that works in partnership with young people to build communities and systems that support youth mental health. Its vision is to build a world where young people can thrive in mental wellness, and where distress becomes a thing of the past. We put youth front and centre and empower young leaders in every province and territory to identify and dismantle barriers to positive mental health in their communities.

Imagine What We Could Change

End the Stigma Surrounding Mental Health

Jack.org Programs for Canadian Students

Through Jack.org’s core programs, Jack Talks, Jack Chapters, and Be There, young people gain access to the knowledge, skills, and platform to build their mental health literacy, support their peers, build networks of belonging, and influence systems that are meant to support their wellbeing.

Jack Talks

Jack Talks are a great way to start the mental health conversation in your community. Jack Talks are free 60-minute virtual or in-person presentations for Canadian students delivered by two trained youth speakers. Speakers cover how to safely and accurately discuss mental health, how to recognize a mental health struggle or crisis and support one another as needed, and how to access mental health resources. While weaving in personal stories and opportunities for engagement, Speakers aim to inspire, engage, and equip young people with the tools to understand mental health and look out for themselves and their peers. We’re excited to announce the launch of two new variations of our Jack Talk: the Modular Jack Talk, which allows organizers to tailor the Talk to their audience’s needs, and the Jack Talk for Indigenous Youth which explores mental health and healing through culturally relevant lenses led by Indigenous facilitators. To learn more about Jack.org’s different Jack Talks, please check out “Which Talk is Right for Me?”!

Be There

Jack.org’s Be There program offers digital resources that teach young people how to support a peer who might be struggling with their mental health. The Be There Certificate is a free, self-paced online course that begins to put this learning into practice with real world scenarios, giving youth the awareness and confidence needed to safely support anyone who may be struggling with their mental health.

Jack Chapters

Jack Chapters are groups of young Canadians mentored by Jack.org staff who work year-round to identify and break down barriers to positive mental health and make concrete change in their communities across Canada.
