With the aim to develop greater financial literacy for students from Kindergarten – Grade 12 across Canada, The Financial Advisors Association of Canada (Advocis) is proud to announce their partnership with Digital Human Library (dHL). The partnership will pair working financial advisors and members of Advocis who volunteer their time in classrooms with the education programs, Q&As, career talks and/or mentorships facilitated and offered by dHL for online or in-person sessions.
“Advocis members are always ready to serve their communities through volunteering and developing financial literacy among youth as one of the most important and vital forms of expertise that they have to offer,” said Julie Martini, Chief Operating Officer of Advocis. “As a generation growing up with an overwhelming amount of guidance and influence from the world of social media in particular, the need for credible and professional support in helping youth become financially literate is crucial.”
By combining the professional experience and knowledge of Advocis members with the reach and opportunities presented by dHL, Advocis members will add themselves and their resources to the 250,000+ educators and 83,000+ programs delivered by dHL.
