Have you ever wondered what the maker movement is all about? Are you curious about makers and what they make? Do you want to know how a 3D printer works?
Maker Junior is a family business founded and created by Alison Evans Adnani and her sons, Nanik and Hari. We work together to help kids and their families start making with projects that combine traditional arts and crafts materials with motors, electronics and more. We visit schools, libraries and community centres. And we sell kits so families can get started at home.
Alison has a background in computer science and has led hundreds of workshops with kids of all ages. She would be happy to talk with your class and encourage them to start making. Maker Junior has exhibited at Maker Faires across Canada and USA, and has won an Educator’s Choice Award at World Maker Faire NYC in 2013 and Best of Show at the Toronto Mini Maker Faire in 2014.
We are all makers! Login and connect with Alison today to inquire about how Maker Junior can inspire you and your students to start making!
