    • Liberalism Day (Nov 20, 9:00-12:00MT/11:00-2:00ET) – Gr 11-12 ◇
This half-day conference will host four 40 minute sessions throughout the morning, examining multiple perspectives on Liberalism: its  success/failure around the world, and interpretation in modern cultures/media.  (Schools are invited to join one session or all four.)
We will be hearing from a young revolutionary in Yemen as she shares how she uses poetry to fight Child Marriage. We will also be hearing from an acclaimed American slam poet as she shares her powerful poetry about self image and injustice.  Students from each school will also have an opportunity to share their poetry with our guests and receive their feedback. Your students will leave this session changed and inspired to see Poetry as a tool for change in the world.
Join high school students from across North America as they come together  to seek out and build consensus on how our scientific communities, local, national and international governments should move forward with Stem Cell Research. Students will hear about ground breaking research and learn about the implications it has on the ethical debate.
