Informing Parents
When scheduling a video conference or watching a live streaming program, teachers are strongly encouraged to notify parents of the event, just as you would if you were physically taking students out of the building for a field trip. Informing parents that students are participating in a video conference or live streaming event is a great way to communicate one of the many exciting opportunities for learning being made available to students in your classroom. In some cases, parents and other community members may wish to visit your classroom on the day of the scheduled event.
