Jack Talks are free 60-minute virtual or in-person presentations for Canadian students delivered by two trained youth speakers. Speakers cover how to safely and accurately discuss mental health, how to recognize a mental health struggle or crisis and support one another as needed, and how to access mental health resources. While weaving in personal stories and opportunities for engagement, Speakers aim to inspire, engage, and equip young people with the tools to understand mental health and look out for themselves and their peers. We’re excited to announce the launch of two new variations of our Jack Talk: the Modular Jack Talk, which allows organizers to tailor the Talk to their audience’s needs, and the Jack Talk for Indigenous Youth which explores mental health and healing through culturally relevant lenses led by Indigenous facilitators.
